Hoplites painted for the Elder Scrolls Miniatures Game where they'll be the Dragonborn's personal army. These didn't have to be historically correct so I used a white and gold theme, a yellow alternative to the red Romans and blue Stormcloaks.
There are plastic parts for 48 figures in each box of Victrix's hoplites. The sculpting is fantastic, I'm really happy ESM is a small skirmish game and each of these get to stand on their own and not lumped into dense grid blocks that get pushed around on the board. Valiant! breaks units into groups of five so that's nine groups per box.
Since we wanted this army to have plumed helms we could only make seventeen figures. The rest are still grey and headless, waiting for a day when cheap corinthian helmets will appear. No rush, though -- three units is plenty for now!
